Cross-cultural travels fuel desires to better the world through landscape architecture
In January 2012, UO landscape architecture alumnae Bethany (Buck) Rydmark quit her job to travel the world for a year with her husband, applying their skills as landscape architect and social worker to help those they meet along the way.
From finding land management solutions in Bolivia to exploring spaces in Argentina, five months of exploration has already shown Rydmark many cross-cultural applications for landscape architecture.
