MLA Student Stephanie Bailey featured in new book on Careers in Landscape Architecture

UO Graduate student Stephanie Bailey is one of the people featured in a new book that focuses upon careers in landscape architecture.  Becoming a Landscape Architect: A Guide to Careers in Design, authored by Kelleann Foster and published by Wiley, focuses upon landscape architecture and the practice of design, while also discussing the educational models and expectations in design schools throughout the country.

The section featuring Stephanie focuses upon her work and research, as well as highlighting her background and what led her to study landscape architecture, and what drew her to the UO.  Stephanie is in the final stages of completing her Masters Project at the moment, which focuses upon open space, ecological health, and environmental equity issues along the Los Angeles River.  Her work has already attracted attention and acclaim, as she was invited to present an early version of her project at a conference on environmental equity in Philadelphia earlier this year.

Congratulations Stephanie!
